what is shamanic kink?

In Shamanic Kink, we are concocting erotic experiences to heal & evolve our soul, using these 3 main ingredients. 

• Role-Play
• Sensation
• Power Dynamics

Many people use the word "kink" to refer to "things they wouldn't do." Makes sense -- kinks are often reflective of something the collective consciousness "rejects" or "disapproves of" in someway... something taboo. 

When we have a kink, there may be some kind of inner conflict associated with it. Usually this is because there is some kind of a disowned desire that hasn't yet found its exalted expression. Kinks are generally erotic & arousing because there is trapped life-force within them, yearning to break free. 

Often, but not always, these disowned desires can be connected to trauma, abuse or ways we may have been emotionally, physically or spiritually injured in the past. Sometimes this connection is obvious and other times it is very subtle and slowly reveals itself over time. These traumas or woundings could be familial, religious, ancestral, cultural or sociological/systemic in nature. In my eyes, kinks are not wrong or bad, even though they can often carry a weight of societal guilt and can be shrouded in shame, fear or disgust.

Kinks are messengers from our soul, pointing us toward healing, greater alignment, fulfillment, authenticity, power, love & self-realization.

In shamanic kink sessions with me, we unearth what these soul messengers (AKA kinks) have to teach us. This is not done through the rational conscious mind, but rather through working with the subconscious, altered states, the the body, the emotions, pleasure, arousal, and the nervous system.  And it gets to be fun, hot, sexy, beautiful, deep, raw, challenging, edgy, juicy, emotional, and erotic! 

Reclaiming & integrating these rejected parts and expressions of ourselves, we get access to more freedom, self-expression, self-acceptance, pleasure, integrity and vitality.

What do you mean shamanic? 

We are often playing with archetypal energies & wounds, that live in the collective consciousness. When we are doing shamanic kink, we are not only working on a personal level, but we are also working in the field of human consciousness that goes beyond the egoic self. 

We are working on many levels and dimensions simultaneously, in the "quantum realm," in a state of consciousness that acknowledges the inherent interconnectedness of all things - working in the realm of Spirit.

Through the activation of sacred space & erotic energy, and through the use of invocations, intention, sensation, imaginal technologies, & trance states, we can journey into non-ordinary states of consciousness, into other dimensions of space-time, where we can heal at some of the deepest levels.
